So I have been thinking about this for a bit today. And this idea makes sense for a bit more congruence with the network. Currently, anyone can view any punishment that has ever been made publicly on the MCC server via the punishment search system. However, Discord punishments are a different thing. And that's what I want to discuss here.
I was the original owner of the Discord. Ex-Administrator Lukasz_ and I managed the MCC | Community Discord. One thing we did early on was keep all punishments on the Discord private. I can't recall exactly why we did this. But that's just how it's been since the creation of the Discord. However, my perspective has changed on it and I want to see what you all think.
My suggestion/idea is making the moderation/punishment logs public for all to see. We already have a public punishment system in one area, which I believe is a good thing. I think it makes sense to make this congruent with the Minecraft server. I'm not going to argue if this is a bad idea due to what I just mentioned. But if that's an issue, I don't think it's a topic for this thread necessarily.
Staff and players, please let me know what you all think below.
